There is one more speciality of Saras Baug. The Peshwas used to discuss their strategies against Nizam and British Empire by sitting in the boats and riding in the Saras Baug lake. It's said that the sailors of the boat were people who didn't understand Marathi or Hindi, so that there was no danger of the strategies being leaked and to have complete secrecy.
